Hills Women On Song

The consistent Isabella Sciberras, Bella Donaldson and Aisling Davidson found the nets as Hills United FC stayed unbeaten after three rounds of the FNSW League One Women’s football tournament.

Hills United were held scoreless in the first half by Sutherland Strikes before banking a 3-0 victory. They broke free in the second session, starting with Sciberras scoring from the spot in the 53rd minute.

Donaldson and Davidson then killed off their opponents hopes with two quick goals within four minutes to maintain their strong start to the 2024 season, with three wins.

Womens Football

In the second round, Hills United crushed Inter-Lions 5-0, thanks to goals from Bella Donaldson, Alix Roberts, Kaylie Shannon, Aisling Davidson and Ashleigh Heuston-Richardson.

The Hills women lie second to high scoring Blacktown City FC on goal difference as both have perfect starts after three rounds, along with thirdplaced Central Coast Mariners.

The in-form Hills women next take on hosts Mt Druitt Town Rangers on Sunday, March 24, at the Popondetta Park field 2 at 3pm.

Meanwhile, the Hills United men, who slumped to a 4-0 defeat against Wollongong Wolves in the sixth round, will be looking for better fortunes this Saturday, March 23, when they face Rockdale Llinden FC at Landen Stadium, Seven Hills, from 7pm.
